To Support Coordinated Cooperative Research, Technical Assistance, Education and Training, and Usable Knowledge Development to Inform Science-based Management of the National Park System. to Facilitate Multi-disciplinary Science and Integrated Information Products Related to the Resources of the National Park System. to Maintain a Comprehensive Network Cooperative Study Units as Will Provide Full Geographic and Topical Coverage for Research, Technical Assistance, and Educational Activities Related to the Resources Contained in Units of the National Park System and Their Larger Regions. This Project Funds the Southwestern Willow Flycatcher (SWF) and Mexican Spotted Owl (MSO) Are Listed as Federally Endangered and Federally Threatened, Respectively. This Project Will Utilize the Tucson Audubon Society to Conduct Bird Surveys of the Federally Endangered Southwestern Willow Flycatcher and Mexican Spotted Owl Within Pecos NHP. During FY23 Tucson Audubon Society Will Determine Presence and Absence of Bird Species by Doing Filed Surveys and Utilizing Sound Recorders. Survey Protocols Recommended by Usfws Will Be Utilized. This Project Engages Recipients, Partners, Communities, and or Visitors in Shared Environmental Stewardship of Threatened and Endangered Species.
