The Experienced Services Program (ESP) Provides Technical Assistance and Support to Natural and Cultural Resource Conservation Projects With the National Park Service (NPS). Participants Will Aid in the Development and Execution of Projects That Benefit the Public and Provide Support to NPS Employees. This Program Will Provide Opportunities to Qualified Individuals 55 Years of Age and Older, Who Have Specific Technical Skills and Abilities That Are Unavailable or Underrepresented at Current NPS Staffing Levels. the Objective of This Project Is to Provide Grants Management Support Through the Full Lifecycle for Many of the Up to 20 Active Grant Programs (with Thousands of Individual Grants) in the Cultural Resources, Partnerships, and Science Directorate. Beneficiaries Include Organizations That Support Career Advancement and Placement for Individuals 55 Years of Age and Older.
