Funding Opportunity Number P22AS00245TO Provide Federal Financial Assistance to State, Local and Tribal Governments, Other Public Entities, Educational Institutions, and Private Nonprofit Organizations to Identify, Evaluate, Interpret, and Protect Historic Battlefields and Sites Associated With Armed Conflicts on American Soil Through Non-acquisition Projects and Activities. the Abpp Consists of Four Grant Programs, Including the Battlefield Land Acquisition Grants Battlefield Interpretation Grants Battlefield Restoration Grants and Preservation Planning Grants.award Synopsis This Grant Will Support the Creation of the American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibit Centered on Through-stories Reflecting Diverse Individual Experiences of the American Revolution That Encompass Multiple Battlefields. the Exhibition S Person-centric Approach Allows the Project Team to Explore the Conflict Through Multiple Lenses and Give Visitors an Opportunity to Develop a Sense of Historical Empathy for the Men and Women Patriots, Loyalists, Enslaved, Free, Foreign Nationals, Native Americans, Descendants of Early Colonists, Recent Immigrants Whose Lives Were Upended by Conflict and Whose Actions Helped Shape a Nation.the Traveling Exhibit Is Envisioned as a Series of Didactic Signs That Are Complemented by Touch Technology and Replica Artifacts. the Touch Technology Will Enable Visitors to Explore Museum Collections and Historic Sites That Are Related to the Figures Featured in the Exhibit While Replica Artifacts Such as Clothing, Maps, Documents, Soldier S Rations, Riflery, Etc., Adds to the Humanistic Approach to the Exhibit Helping Visitors Imagine the Experiences of the Exhibit S Primary Subjects.
