Purpose of Award Summary of the Goals and Objectives of the Project the Purpose Is to Collaborate on Processing and Analyzing Water Samples, and Interpreting Water Quality Monitoring and Science in the Region Center for Coastal Studies CCS Staff Work Alongside NPS Resource Professionals to Answer Ecological Questions, Address Management Needs and Provide Information to Park Visitors and the General Public This Study Will Further the Understanding of Water Resource Health to Easily Communicate Information to Improve Visitor Experience and Safety and Improve Park Staff S Knowledge Summary of Project Specific Activities NPS Implements Various Water Quality Monitoring and Management in Lakes and Coastal Waters CCS Will Analyze Water Samples Collected by Cape Cod National Seashore Caco Natural Resource Management Staff for Water Quality Constituents Through Scientific Collaboration, the Water Quality Analysis Will Be Performed to Assess the Condition and Integrity of Caco Water Resources Performance Goals Including Milestones and Expected Outcomes This Work Will Be Conducted Through Close Collaboration Among the CCS Investigators and NPS Scientists and Managers at Caco This Collaborative Scientific Analysis Will Lead to a Better Understanding of Water Quality Throughout Caco and Provide Up to Date Science to Inform Water Resource Management Decisions Across the Landscape Beneficiaries Beneficiaries Include Both Caco and the CCS Both Entities Benefit From the Synergy of Collaboration to Process Water Quality Samples, Assistance Provided to Each Other in Laboratory Support, and Productive Conversations That Inform Water Quality Management and Mitigation Solutions Across the Region
