Purpose of Award Develop a Program Involving Cooperative, Operations Efforts in Cultural Landscape and Trail Maintenance as Preservation Maintenance and Resource Stewardship Science Within the World Heritage Site With Substantial NPS Involvement to Include Partners to Enhance Mutual Youth Engagement, Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity Recruitment Goals Perform Cultural Landscape and Trail Preservation Maintenance Operations as Well as Resource Stewardship and Science Activities Within Designated Areas Within the World Heritage Site Summary of Project Specific Activities Regular Science Based Monitoring, Assessment and Treatment of Vegetative Cover and Turf Areas in Project Areas Consistent With Established Sara and NPS Operational Practices Andregular Science Based Monitoring and Data Sharing Regarding the Spanish Colonial Acequia Water Systems, to Include Inflow and Outflow Areas of the San Antonio River Consistent With Established Sara and NPS Operational Practices Andremoval, Study, Evaluation, Monitoring, and Control of Non Native Invasive Plants in Native Plant Areas Consistent With Established Sara and NPS Operational Practices Andsustainable Designed Landscape Rehabilitation Through Planting of Native Plants as Those Communities Become Degraded Based on Monitoring Andbrush Removal and Regular Condition Monitoring Along More Than 13 Miles of Pedestrian Trail System Installed by Others Thorough Previous Agreement Andgraffiti Abatement and Condition Monitoring of Trails and Other Similar Modern Infrastructure Such as Waysides, Panels, Sidewalks, and Vertical Masonry Treatments Andpower Washing, Brushing or Cleaning Hardened Trail Surfaces Established Sara and NPS Operational Practices Andidentification and Removal of Trash, Debris, Etc Within the Waterways of the World Heritage Site to Include the San Antonio River and the Historic, Internationally Significant Spanish Colonial Era Acequias That Flow Between and Connect the WHMG Managed Lands Andmaintenance and Minor Repairs of Aggregate Trail Surfaces Within Integrated Resource Project Area of the World Heritage Site for the Purposes of Visitor Safety and Sustainability Performance Goals Including Milestones and Outcomes the Recipient Shall Execute the Statement of Work and the Specifics Under the Site Specific Workplans for the Preservation Maintenance of Cultural Landscape Features, Trails, and Public Safety, Improvements, and Convenience Areas Within San Antonio Missions World Heritage Site to Include San Antonio Missions National Historical Park as an Extension of the Sara Responsibilities Within the 2015 Designated Mission Reach Area to Include Mission Conception Specifically Theo Street , the Acequia Trail Within Acequia Park, the Parking Area at Mission San Juan, and the San Juan Dam Area Beneficiaries NPS and Sara Desire to Build Upon the Good Record Established of Restoring and Maintaining NPS Resources in a Cost Effective and Efficient Manner, Especially When They Have Worked in Partnership With the NPS the NPS and Sara Alsowish to Cooperate With One Another for Their Mutual Benefit and for the General Benefit of the People of the United States and Future Generations to Enjoy the Natural and Cultural Resources of Area
