Project Statement - to Protect Remaining Intact Grasslands, Restore Degraded Grasslands, and Increase the Ecological Value of Many Cultural Landscapes (e.g., Battlefields), Parks Need to Know What Grassland Communities Currently Exist in Their Parks, the Composition and Distribution of Those Grasslands, and Guidance on Best Management Practices for Habitat Restoration/re-creation Projects for Native Grasslands. in Particular, the Work Will Support Our Efforts to Manage Habitat for Threatened and Endangered Grassland Species Such as the Cumberland Sandwort (arenaria Cumberlandensis) and the Green Pitcher-plant (sarracenia Oreophila).
