Purpose of Award (summary of the Goals and Objectives of the Project):the Purpose of This Award: Will Involve Work on the Park Boardwalks, Repairs to a Bridge, Installation of Steps and Minor Trail Maintenance at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument.summary of Project Specific Activities:the Project Work Will Replace Approximately 4 Boardwalks, Replace Handrails, Boards on the Walkway and Help Build Steps Up to a New Lookout Point in the Park. the Crews Will Also Help Work on Trail Maintenance in These Areas to Rehabilitate the Areas.performance Goals Including Milestones and Expected Outcomes:the Goals of This Project Include Assisting With the Replacement of 4 Boardwalks Parkwide, Repairs to a Bridge, Steps Going to a Lookout Vantage Point in the Park and Some Minor Trail Maintenance. the Project Will Include the Crew Mentoring, Career Exploration in the Outdoors, Environmental Education and Recreational Activities Including Hiking.beneficiaries:the Project Will Provide Meaningful Life and Work Experience and Training; Land and Resource Stewardship Education and Appreciation; Technical, Safety and Teambuilding Opportunities to Young Adults.
