Purpose of Award (summary of the Goals and Objectives of the Project): Summary of Project Specific Activities: Administer Scholarships or Stipends to Individuals or Organizations Affiliated With the Urban Waters Learning Network (UWLN) and the Urban Waters Federal Partnership (uwfp), by Accomplishing the Following Tasks: Support Training Opportunities Offered at the Urban Waters Learning Forum (held at River Rally), One Water Summit, Epa's Urban Waters National Training Program, and Other Training Programs. Support Collaborative Work Approved by Epa and NPS Staff That Will Strengthen the Uwln and Its Member Organizations' Urban Waters Work. Provide Overall Direction and Management of the Uwln Including Implementation and Tracking of the Approved Work Plan. Developing and Delivering Status Reports. Scheduling and Coordinating Activities With Epa and NPS. Overseeing the Workload of the Sub-awardees and Consultants on Deliverables, Finances, and Final Reports. Assessing Program Performance and Providing Recommendations and Vision for the Future. Performance Goals Including Milestones and Expected Outcomes: Identify and Document the Needs of Local Communities to Accomplish Urban Waters Work and Provide Tools to Build a Network of Practitioners to Share Experiences and Improve Effectiveness.
