(hips)/program Cis Is a Non-profit Organization Established Within the Ryder Memorial Hospital Facilities in Humacao, Puerto Rico. Hips Staff Has Been Working for the Program for the Past 31 Years. Hips\program Cis Provides Early Intervention Services (EIS) to Hiv/aids Participants Within Puerto Rico’s Southeastern Region With Ryan White Funds Collaboration. Hiv/aids Participants Receiving Our Services Are: Low-income, Vulnerable, Medically Underserved People Living With Hiv/aids; Including Women, Pregnant Women, Infants, Children, Youth, MSM, Homeless Person and Others. Description Key Services to Be Supported by This Request, Amount Requested and Target Populations: Healthcare Integrated Program Services, Inc./program Cis Services Include the Following: Hiv Counseling and Testing, Referral and Partner Counseling Services, Medical Evaluation and Clinical Care, Oral Health, Treatment Adherence, Outpatient Mental Health, Specialty Care, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Medical Case Management, Referral Clinical Research, Health and Risk Education and Support Services. Our Overall Program Goal Is to Increase Accessibility and Availability of High-quality Early Intervention Services to Participants At-risk or With Hiv/aids. Summary of Proposed Capacity Development Activities: Healthcare Integrated Program Services, Inc. Overall Goal Is to Increase the Capabilities of the Organization’s Dental Services, Provide Accessibility and Availability of Early Intervention Primary Care Services for Hiv Positive Clients. Oral Health: Healthcare Integrated Program Service, Inc./program Cis, for More Than 31 Years, Is Offering, Inside Facilities; Specialized Oral Healthcare to Attend to Hiv/aids Population Needs. Oral Health Services Include: Diagnostic, Preventive, Therapeutic Services, X-rays, Cleaning, Extractions, Gum Treatments, Minor Surgeries and Special Procedures. the Oral Healthcare Provision Within Our Facility Allows Participants to Receive a Specialized Service Integrating Physical and Oral Healthcare. in Addition, Oral Healthcare Personnel Realize Required Laboratory Tests, Case Discussions and Clinical Consultants With Other Clinical Personnel to Enhance Patient Treatment Adherence. Early Hiv Oral Manifestation Detection, Cavities and Periodontal Disease Are Primary Hips Dental Clinic Philosophy. Some of These Services Are But Not Limit to Preventive, Restorative, Endodontic and Advanced Periodontal Healthcare, Treatment and Dental Prosthesis. It Is Important to Highlight That These Services Were Not Only Available to Our Clients, But Also Clients Referred From External Community Organizations. the Oral Healthcare Provision, Within Our Facility, Allows Participants to Receive a Specialized Service Integrating Physical and Oral Healthcare. Our Objective Is to Develop, Improve and Expand Our Dental Service. in Puerto Rico, Very Few Programs That Receive Hrsa Funds Are Able to Obtain Dental Services. It Is Our Commitment to Serve Our Population and Expand Services to These Underserved Programs. We Understand With New Equipment, Better Technology and More Space; We Will Achieve a Greater Impact in Our Communities. Amount Requested: a Total of $150,000 Funding Amount Is Requested for the One-year Period Performance Starting on September 1, 2023 Through August 31, 2024.
