Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide One (1) Year of Operating Assistance to Josephine County for Transit Operations Using FY2022 Section 5307 Funds.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Cover All Eligible Operating Expenses Such as Staffing Costs Fuel and Operating Supplies Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year in Order to Continue Transit Operations Uninterrupted Across the Entire Fiscal Year.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Josephine County to Continue to Provide Public Transit Operations That Would Otherwise Have to Be Reduced Due to Lack of Funding.; Intended Beneficiaries: Josephine County in the Grants Pass Uza Will Provide Transit Services for Riders That Rely on Public Transit Will Benefit From the Continued Services Providing Riders With Transportation to a Multitude of Activities Such as Work School Access to Medical Services and Essential Human Services.; Subrecipient Activities: None
