This Application Includes $880200 in FY2019 STBG Funds and $154336 in FY2019 Cmaq Funds Transferred Into the Section 5307 Small Urban Program. the Funding Is for Engineering / Design and Construction of a Bus Station That Will Serve as a Transit Hub With Expanded Capacity to Accommodate Multiple Fixed-route Paratransit and Demand-response Vehicles. the Transit Hub Will Be Constructed on Two Vacant Parcels at 143 NW E Street and the Southeast Corner of NW Fifth Street and NW D Street in Grants Pass Or.purpose:the Purpose of This Award Is to Fund Engineering and Design and Construction of a Transit Hub Bus Station Located in Grants Pass Oregon Which Will Improve the Overall Functionality of the Josephine County Community Transit System. Activities to Be Performed:engineering and Design Activities for the Transit Hub Began on April 1 2020 and Were Completed on January 10 2022. Construction Activities Are Estimated to Begin on May 16 2022 and Are Estimated to Be Completed by May 1 2023.EXPECTED Outcomes:by Moving This Facility to a New Transit Hub One That Has Adequate Room and Passenger Amenities It Will Improve the Safety Reliability Efficiency and Overall Customer Experience of the Entire Transit System.
