The Lane Transit District (LTD) Hereby Requests Fy 2020 Section 5339 (B) Competitive Funds (discretionary ID#D2020-BUSC-172) in the Amount of $3952851 for the Purchase of Approximately Five Replacement On-route Charged 40-FOOT Ada Accessible Battery Electric Buses With Security Surveillance Systems and Avl Equipment Travel for Bus Build Inspection Including Pre and Post Audits and Onsite Vehicle Inspections Project Management Technical Assistance and the Purchase and Installation of Four Depot Bus Chargers That Will Be Installed at 3500 East 17TH Avenue Eugene or 97403. This Electric Bus Replacement Project Will Augment Several Fully Executed Grants (OR-95-X055-00/OR-2017-015-00/OR-2017-016-00/OR-2018-012-00-NOLOW/OR-2020-051-00) That Are Funding the Electrification of LTDS Fleet. LTD Anticipates That Collectively the Agency Will Be Able to Acquire a Total of Sixteen (16) Battery Electric 40-FOOT Buses in the Furtherance of Its Commitment to Reduce Greenhouse Gases.
