Mtta Is Requesting Section 5339 Federal Funds Apportioned to the Tulsa Ok Uza (400600 400000) in the Amount of $3175604 (70% of Total Project Cost) to Replace 6 Vehicles Rehabilitate and Expand Facilities to Support the Route 66 (11TH Street) BRT and Implement New Technology. the Local Match of 30% of the Project Cost Is $1385864 From the Improve Our Tulsa 2014 Sales Tax Fund. the Breakdown Is Below. the Total Project Cost Is $4561468. This Is an Fy 2020 Competitive Bus and Bus Facilities Grant Awarded to Tulsa Ok. (discretionary Bus Grant Id: D2020BUSC170.) This Project Is Nepa Compliant Per the Approved Ce Dated 2/26/2020. Facility Expansion: the Current Employee Parking for Mtta Is No Longer Sufficient With the Increase in Buses for the Current BRT and Then With Adding a New BRT in 2023/2024. Mtta Has Purchased Property Adjacent to Our Current Property With the Expectation of Building a Parking Lot That Will Host Approximately 100 New Employee Vehicles. This Process Will Involve Demolishing the Current Building Leveling of the Ground and Soil New Pavement and Paint/striping. Spaces Will Not Be Covered. This Will Replace the Current Parking Spaces Mtta Rents From the Railroad Company at a Cost to Mtta of Around $18K a Year and Is Not Well Kept. the Expected Useful Life Is 20 Years. Facility Rehabilitation: Replace Damaged Roof on Call Center Building. Roof Was Damaged by a Storm and Temporarily Patched. It Needs to Be Replaced and Brought Up to the New Building Code. Install a New Commercial Tpo Roof System on the Three Buildings at the Rockford Complex Paratransit/call Center.omb ELEMENTS:1) Purpose: the Purpose of This Grant Is to Fund Much Needed Improvements to Replace Vehicles Upgrade Facilities Call Center Roof Repair and Employee Parking Lot. and Implement Better Technology. 2) Activities to Be Performed: Replace 6 Vehicles Rehabilitate Paratransit/call Center Roof and New Parking Lot for Employees to Utilize as the Current Parking Lot Is No Longer Sufficient With Our Size and Currently Requires Employees to Park Off Site and Walk Into Work. This Started in July of 2019 When Tulsa Added the First BRT Route Adding Additional Buses and With a 2ND BRT in the Works It Will Cause Further Issues If Not Improved on in a Timely Manner Also Implement Technology in Accordance With the Technology Plan and Expand the Facility to Support the Route 66 (11TH Street) Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) SYSTEM.3) Expected Outcomes: These Three Projects Are Key in Building the Needed Regional Network and Growing the System to Meet the Areas Economic Demands. the Vehicles Replace Mttas Diesel Transit Bus With a CNG Bus and 5 Paratransit Vehicles. All Replacing Vehicles Have Met or Exceeded Useful Life; Support the Second Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Line and Build Regional Paratransit Coordination.
