Application Purpose: Projects Are Part of Cotas 5-YEAR Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and Our 5-YEAR Strategic Plan. This Includes the Purchase of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Buses Mobility Vehicles Microtransit Vehicles Battery Electric Buses and the Development of Our Newest Mobility Center Located Near the Rickenbacker Airport in Central Ohio. We Will Also Be Continuing the Planning of Multiple High Capacity Transit Corridors. the Corridors Are Part of the Multi-billion Dollar Linkus Mobility Initiative That Includes the City of Columbus and Other Public and Private Partners.; Activities Performed: We Will Be Continuing the Planning of Our Multiple High Capacity Transit Corridors. Cota Will Also Purchase 18 CNG Buses 10 Mobility Vehicles and 10 Microtransit Vehicles for Our On-demand Services.; Expected Outcomes: the Intended Outcome Is to Create Transportation Equity for All. These Projects Will Bring Job Creation and Contribute to Reducing Carbon Emissions Both of Which Will Have Positive Impacts on Public Health. There Have Been Major Announcements of Large Computer Chip and Electric Vehicle Battery Manufacturing Facilities Heading to This Region. the Corridors Will Help With the Traffic and Population Growth We Anticipate Due to These Announcements.; Intended Beneficiaries: Positive Impacts on the Health of Our Community and the Environment as Well as Creating More Work Opportunities in the Region.
