Angeloro Memorial Facility Which Houses the Entirety of Laketrans Operations Including Maintenance Bus Garage Dispatch Customer Service Call Center and Administrative Offices. Additionally This Award Will Fund the Construction of Building Addition for Offices and Bus Storage Garage.; Activities Performed: Construction; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Support the Renovation of Laketrans Facility That Will Enhance the Working Environment for Its Employees to Improve Efficiency of Operations Workforce Retention and Technology Utilization as Well as Perform Deferred Maintenance Activities. Construction of the Building Addition Will Provide More Office and Meeting Room Space Improved Training Environment Creation of Additional Vehicle Maintenance Bay and Additional Bus Storage for the Increasing Size of Laketrans Fleet. Laketran Is Growing Its Transit Operations to Provide More Fixed Routes Longer Operating Hours and More Door-to-door Dial-a-ride.; Intended Beneficiaries: Laketran Employees Will Directly Benefit From Modernized Work Spaces. Lake County Residents Will Benefit From Increased Transportation Options as the Enlarged Bus Garage Will Allow Laketran to Purchase More Vehicles in Which to Provide More Service.; Subrecipient Activities: Laketran Has No Subrecipients.
