Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Preventive Maintenance and Operating Assistance for Broome County Transit; Activities Performed: Broome County Will Maintain All Assets With a Federal Interest Including Revenue Vehicles Support Vehicles and Buildings for the Preventive Maintenance Portion. Eligible Preventive Maintenance Includes Expenses Such as Mechanic Salaries and Benefits as Well as Vehicle and Facility Maintenance Costs Which Have a Useful Life of One (1) Year or Less. Operating Assistance Will Be Claimed on All Broome County Transit Expenses for January 2022 Through December 2022 and January 2023 Through December 2023 and Will Be Used for Ongoing Operations Including Salaries Fringes and Other Related Expenses.; Expected Outcomes: These Funds Will Ensure That Broome County Keeps All Its Assets in Good Working Order and That All Maintenance Is in Compliance With Broome Countys Facility and Vehicle Maintenance Policies.; Intended Beneficiaries: These Projects Will Benefit the Greater City of Binghamton Service Area and All Its Local Commuters by Ensuring Broome County Transits Fleet Is in a State of Good Repair and Services Are Reliable for All Riders.; Subrecipient Activities: None
