Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Ffy 2022 Section 5339 Full Apportionment Is to Provide Funding for Improvements to the Downtown Transit Center Purchase of Two (2) Replacement 30 Busses as Well as Sub-recipient Funding Provided to Douglas County NV for the Purchase of One (1) Ada Van/bus.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Go Towards the Purchase of Two (2) Replacement Vehicles for Jac Assists Para-transit Fleet Keeping All Vehicles Within Their Useful Life and in a State of Good Repair. Additional Funds Will Be Allocated to Douglas County NV as a Sub-award Which Will Be Used for the Purchase of One (1) Ada Van/bus to Be Used for Medical Transportation in Douglas County Which Is Partially Within the Campo Boundary. Improvements to the Downtown Transit Center Will Also Be Funded Through This Grant. Improvements Include New Shelters Benches Signs and Lighting.; Expected Outcomes: the Purchase of Two (2) New Para-transit Vehicles for Jac Assist Is Expected to Ensure a Fully Functioning Fleet That Remains in a State of Good Repair and Does Not Exceed Its Useful Life. Improvements to the Down Town Transit Center Will Provide Batter Access to Information as Well as a More Comfortable and Safe Place for Riders to Wait for Their Bus. Lastly the Sub-award for Douglas County Will Allow for Improved Access to Medical Transportation for Individuals in Douglas County Which Is Partially Inside of the Campo Boundary.; Intended Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries Will Include All Current and Potential Riders of the Jac Transit System as Well as Riders of Douglas Counties Dart Program Which Provides Medical Transportation in Douglas County Which Is Partially Within the Campo Boundary. ; Subrecipient Activities: Subrecipient (douglas County NV) Will Use Sub Awarded Funds of $85000 to Purchase a New Ada Bus/van.
