Day One Rpe Assessing Coalition Capacity to Advance Primary Prevention Project - Day One, Rhode Island's State Sexual Assault Coalition, Seeks a Grant in the Amount of $125,830 to Address the Public Health Problem as Described in the 2023 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Rape Prevention and Education: Assessing Coalition Capacity to Advance Primary Prevention Notice of Funding Opportunity. We Will Use Grant Funds to Conduct a Capacity Assessment to Plan and Implement Equity-focused Sexual Violence Prevention Strategies. as Part of the Assessment, Planning, and Implementation Processes, Day One Will Establish Partnerships That Increase the Coalition’s Ability to Address the Needs of the Population and Improve Health Outcomes. Specifically, the Agency Will Build Collaborative Relationships With Existing Health Equity and Prevention Initiatives and Create Protective Factors in Rhode Island Schools, Workplaces, and Communities Where Sexual Violence Is or Has the Potential to Be Pervasive.
