Comprehensive High-impact Hiv Prevention Programs for Community-based Organizations - Guiding Right, Inc., a Non-profit Agency Located in Oklahoma, Will Implement Hiv Testing, Prevention, and Linkage to Care Services to Non-hispanic, Black/african American Men and Women Designated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to Effectively Reduce the Risks of Hiv Transmission. the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) and Tulsa Msa Have Seen Over Approximately 1,500 Hiv Diagnoses in Just the Past Four Years. Black/african American MSM Populations Are at Especially High Risk for Hiv Infection in This Setting.guiding Right, Inc. Will Focus Its Testing, Linkage, Medical Treatment, and Prevention Interventions in the Most Impacted Regions in the Two Msas. Staff, Reflective of the Target Population, Will Deliver Group and Individual Level Interventions and Services to 3,750 African American Men Who Have Sex With Men (MSM) and Heterosexual Women and Men Ages 13 to 64.GUIDING Right Will Carry Out These Services in Close Collaboration With the Businesses and Partner Agencies That Also Service the Target Population, and in Consultation With the Local Health Department and Centers for Disease Control Project Officer. Over the Five-year Project Period, the Project Will Reduce Risk Behaviors Both on the Community Level and the Individual Level Within the Target Population.
