Capacity Building for Global, Regional, and National Immunization Programs - Global Immunization Division, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - This Proposal?s Purpose Is to Support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention?s (CDC) Global Immunization Division?s (GID) Goal of Reducing the Burden of Vaccine Preventable Diseases Such as Polio and Increased the Capacity of Global Immunization Programs. Integral Global Health (IGH) and Its Registered Office in Pakistan Will Partner With the Public Health Institute (phi), Chip Training and Consulting (CTC) With Offices Throughout Pakistan, and Riz Consulting (RIZ) With Offices in the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and Afghanistan - to Serve as the Integral Consortium to Implement Programs Designed to Assist Gid With Meeting Its Goals. the Integral Consortium Has a Strong Foundation of Previous Experience Working With Gid in Pakistan. Igh?s Leadership Consists of a Former Staff Member of the CDC Who Was Assigned to the Gpei in Pakistan. Additionally, the Igh Consortium Brings a Roster of Partners Who Are Currently Working With Gpei Partners in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Phi Brings a Strong Cadre of Technical Subject Matter Experts and Former CDC Staff Who Have Diverse Experience With Coalition Building and a Large Global Presence in Several of the Priority Countries, Aligned With Gid?s Routine Immunization and Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) Initiatives. This Consortium Has a Strong On-the-ground Infrastructure to Rapidly Engage Partners Such as the National Stop Transmission of Polio Program, Provide Program Administration, and Fiscal Management at the National and Provincial Level in Af/pak and Globally. Additionally, the Consortium Brings the Requisite Past Performance to Serve as a Strong Technical Backstop for Gid?s Global Needs. Globally, the Igh Consortium Is Prepared With a Strong Understanding of Addressing the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Context of Including the Vaccine Into Ri Programs in the Future as Vaccine Supplies Become More Available.the Integral Consortium?s Proposal Outlines Projects in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Globa Lly to Address Gid?s Short- and Medium-term Outcomes. the Detailed Activities Outlined in the Proposal Will Accomplish the Following Outcomes by the End of the Five-year Project Period:?elimination of Polio From Afghanistan and Pakistan?integration of the Polio Eradication Initiative With the Country?s Expanded Program on Immunization (epi)?regional and National Vaccine Preventable Disease Elimination Goals Achieved?strong Immunization Systems in Af/pak?strengthened COVID-19 and VPD Data and Surveillance Systems?reduced COVID-19 and VPD Associated Mortality and Morbidity?increased Government Ownership of Epi Programs?improved Stakeholder Consensus and Coordination on Immunization This Project Will Be Supported by a Strong Monitoring and Evaluation Plan That Will Collect Performance and Evaluation Data That Will Influence Management Decision-making and Resource Allocation; Track Program Implementation Against Targets Using Annual Benchmarks; Develop Implementation Tactics and Strategies; Communicate and Report on Program Results and Contribute to CDC?S Strategic Objectives.
