Application Purpose: This Application Will Support the Ongoing Preventative Maintenance for the New Mexico Rail Runner Express (NMRX) and Assist in the Continued Maintenance and Funding of Positive Train Control.; Activities Performed: Eligible Projects Involve Vehicles Maintenance Items Such as Inspections Maintenance Administration and Servicing of Revenue and Non- Revenue Vehicles. These Activities Are Classified as Vehicle Maintenance (041) in the National Transit Database (NTD) System. in Addition Eligible Costs Consist of Non-revenue Maintenance Activities Including Maintenance of Power and Vehicle Movement Control Systems Upkeep of Fare Collection and Counting Equipment and Repair and Improvement of Fixed Guideway Structures and Track Passenger Stations Operations and Administration Buildings Grounds and Equipment and Communication Systems.; Expected Outcomes: This Capital Program Will Provide a Mechanism for the Effective and Efficient Stewardship of NMRX Assets Which Is Critical to the Provision of Safe Reliable and Responsible Public Transportation Service Throughout the Rio Metro Regional Transit Districts Service Area; Intended Beneficiaries: All Rmrtd Passengers and the General Public Will Benefit by Maintaining the Safety of the Equipment and Right of Way; Subrecipient Activities: N/a
