This Constitutes 100% Obligation of Arpa Funding Available to Manchester Transit Authority. the New Hampshire Split Letter Dated August 9 2021 for Mta Is Attached and the Negotiated Split for 5307/5310 for Nashua Dated April 2 2021 Is Attached.the Following Funds Will Be Obligated:section 5307 New Hampshire Uza $1021617SECTION 5307 Nashua Nh-ma Uza $175050SECTION 5310 Nashua Nh-ma Uza $7701PURPOSE: the Purpose of This Award Is to Support Operating Assistance and Preventive Maintenance Activities for Mta.activities to Be Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Cover Eligible Operating and Preventive Maintenance Expenses for Mtas Fixed Route and Demand Services. Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Mta to Meet Preventive Maintenance Standards and Continue to Keep Rolling Stock Vehicles and Facilities in a State of Good Repair. Intended Beneficiaries: This Funding Will Allow Mta to Continue to Provide Reliable Responsive and Safe Transportation to the Public in the Greater Manchester and Salem/derry Areas. Subrecipient Activities: Nonemta Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.activities in This Grant Will Begin on May 1 2022 and Will Continue Through the Period of Performance End Date. Per Arp the Grant Requests 100% Federal Share and the Activities in This Application Are Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-range Transportation Plan or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. Federal Transit Law Requires That Projects Selected for Funding Under the Section 5310 Program Be Included in a Locally Developed Coordinated Public Transit-human Services Transportation Plan. Attached Is a Draft Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan for the Greater Manchester-derry-salem Region (RCC Region 8). the Regional Planning Commission (RPC) Anticipates Adoption of the New Plan on 9/15/2022. Mta and the RPC Will Keep the Regional Office Informed With the Status of Approval for the Coordinated Plan.the Recipient Certifies That It and Its Subrecipients and Contractors That Are Providers of Public Transportation Have Not Furloughed Any Employees Since March 27 2020 (the Enactment Date of the Cares Act).
