The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Is Providing $875,000 in Federal Funding to the State of Washington Through the Inflation Reduction Act. This Funding Will Build the Ability of Washington's Federally-approved Coastal Zone Management Program Within the Department of Ecology to Implement Projects, Initiatives, and Programs That Increase the Climate Resilience of Coastal Communities Within Coastal Counties. Specifically, the Department of Ecology Will Use These Funds to Partner With Washington Sea Grant to Develop, Launch, and Operate a New Washington Coastal Resilience Fellowship Program Focused on Enhancing Climate Resilience of Coastal Communities.
