Through This Cooperative Agreement, Multiplier Proposes to Further Noaa's Research Mission "to Help U.s. Communities Better Understand and Manage Their Climate-related Risks and Opportunities, Which Includes Building Resilience to Climate-related Hazards." Our Proposal Will Support Effective Resilience Planning and Outcomes in at Least 300 Communities Across All U.s. States and Territories Over the Next Four Years. Csci Communities Will Emerge From This Initiative With Equitable, Finance-ready Climate Resilience Plans That Feature Nature-based Solutions and Are Built on the Steps to Resilience (STR). Csci Will Boost the Capacity of and Demand for Our Nation's Nascent Climate Resilience Workforce Through Standardized Practitioner Training Organized Around the STR and Efforts to Communicate the Success of Participating Communities.
