The Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve (TRNERR) Was Designated in 1982 and Is Located in Imperial Beach, California. the California Department of Parks and Recreation Is Trnerr's Federally Designated Administrative Lead Agency. the Southwest Wetlands Interpretive Association (SWIA) Is a 501C3 Non-profit Foundation Working With California State Parks to Carry Out the Reserve's Research and Monitoring Programs Through This Grant. the Tasks Below Support Identifying and Prioritizing Coastal Management Issues That Can Be Addressed by the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve and National Estuarine Research Reserve System. All Tasks Carried Out by Swia and Its Employees Under Noaa Grant Funds Are Overseen by the Reserve Manager and Will Be Fully Integrated With Those California State Parks (CSP) Tasks, So as to Provide for Seamless Reserve Operation and Are Covered Under a 2011 Mou Between CSP and Swia. the Reserve Activities Identified in This Operations Award
