The Project Objective Is to Advance the Required Testing and Development of Previously Piloted Pound Net Technology in the Lower Columbia River Emerging Commercial Fishery. Two Pound Nets Will Be Purchased and Implemented. This Will Enable Commercial Fishing as Well as Provide Opportunities for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to Conduct Their Evaluation of the Nets.
