The Proposed Work Will Support the International Whaling Commission (IWC) in the Performance of Its Duties Through Specific Initiatives Endorsed by Commission Members, Including the United States. the Iwc Is an Impartial Leader in the Conservation, Scientific Research, and Management of Cetaceans. Work Conducted Will Include Assisting Subsistence Hunts in Achieving Compliance With Iwc Measures, Updating and Further Developing the Iwc Whale Watching Handbook Alongside Implementation of the Iwc Ship Strike Strategic Plan, Support the Iwc Bycatch Mitigation Initiative, Strengthen the Capacity of the Iwc Through the Governance Review, Support Iwc Technical Meetings and Workshops, Providing Delegate Travel to Meetings, and Funding Short-term Internships From Member Countries.
