This Project Will Develop Guidance for Planners and Communities in the Great Lakes on the Use of Climate Data, Science, and Informational Resources as They Relate to Lake Level-flood Risk and Equity to Build Long Term Climate Resilience. This Project Will Build Upon the 2017-2019 Noaa Funded Research Project "incorporating Climate Science to Help Communities Plan for Climate Extremes" and Develop Supplemental Guidance for the Already Published Guidebook "using Climate Information in Local Planning: a Guide for Communities in the Great Lakes." This Project Will Develop Two New Chapters for the Guidebook, the First Focusing on Lake-level Variation and Flood Risk, and the Second Focusing on Data, Tools, and Resources for Communities Seeking More Equitable Outcomes.
