Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Operating Assistance as a Result of the COVID-19 Pandemic for the Duluth Mn/superior Wi Uza to Assist in Fixed Route Operations and Capital Improvements.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Cover Eligible Operating Expenses Such as Driver Salaries Fuel and Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year. It Will Also Be Used for Capital Facility Improvements at the Dta Operation Center to Replace an Aging Sprinkler System and Flooring Repairs. Capital Improvements Will Have a Useful Life of 20 Years.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit the Dta to Continue Providing Operations Allowing Commuters to Access Employment and Other Opportunities. It Will Also Improve the Condition of the Dta Facilities and Decrease Fire Risk.; Intended Beneficiaries: Dta Staff and Passengers.; Subrecipient Activities: None.
