Award Purpose the Purpose of This Grant Opportunity Is to Create Economic Mobility, Address Historic Inequities for Marginalized Communities of Color and Other Underserved and Underrepresented Communities, and Produce High-quality Employment for Workers Who Reside in the Appalachian and Delta Regions, Enabling Them to Remain and Thrive in These Communities. Activities Performed the Proposed Project Will Be Implemented in Two Phases: (1) Accelerated, Skills-based Training Program; and (2) Registered Apprenticeship Programs. Deliverables the Project Is Projected to Enroll a Total of 60 Participants in Both Programs With 30 Participants Receiving a Nationally Recognized Certification. Yowealth Anticipates Placing 40 Participants in High Quality Career Opportunities With Employer Partners or as Registered Apprentices. Intended Beneficiary New Entrants and Dislocated Workers. Subrecipient Activities the Recipient Does Not Intend to Subaward Funds.
