Flint Mta Is Applying for FY2022 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Section 5307 Federal Funds in the Amount of $16183000. Per the Arpa the Grant Requests 100% Federal Share. This Application Utilizes Arpa Funding to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to Coronavirus. Anticipated Short-term Activities Include the Public Health Emergency Response Services to Fund a Variety of Operating Expenses That Are Necessary to Operate Maintain and Manage a Public Transportation System Related to COVID-19 During the Pandemic. Subsequent Activities Will Be Focused on Providing Transit Services That Help the Community Recover From the Severe Social and Economic Impacts of COVID-19. Purpose of the Award-to Provide Safe Efficient and Effective Operating Support to Mta for Transportation Services to the Community During the Public Health Emergency.activities to Be Performed- Activities to Be Performed Include Payroll for Public Transit Providers Operating Costs of Public Transit During the Public Health Emergency Purchase of Personal Protective Equipment and Administrative Leave for Operations or Contractor Due to Reductions in Service.expected Outcomes- to Provide Effective Efficient and Safe Services for Mta Staff and Passengers.intended Beneficiaries-the Intended Beneficiaries Are the Entire Transit Services Staff and Passengers.subrecipient Activities-n/amta Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T.
