The Discovery Children’s Museum Will Refresh Content and Renovate Water World, One of the Original and Most Popular Permanent Exhibitions. Based on Recommendations From a 2020 Exhibit Master Planning Report, Staff Will Contract With an Exhibition Fabricator, a Project Manager, and an Evaluator to Take Existing Designs Through Fabrication, Testing, Installation, and Remedial Evaluation. a Cross-departmental Staff Team Will Collaborate on the Development of Programs, Community Partnerships, Revised K-7TH Grade Curriculum-based Materials, Creation of Online Content for Educators, and a Timelapse Video of the Exhibition Installation. as a Result, Visitors Will Enjoy a Permanent Exhibition That Requires Significantly Less Water to Operate, With Improved Safety and Engagement Features and New Nevada-specific Content Around Water Conservation.
