Application Purpose: the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) Requests $628777 of Section 5339 (FFY2022) Funds From the Barnstable Ma Urbanized Area. the Barnstable Uza Split Letter Dated April 16TH 2022 Is Attached. This Award Will Help Facilitate Maintaining Our Service as Well as Ensuring Increased Fuel-efficiency of Our Fleet.; Activities Performed: These Funds Will Be Used to Continue the Process for Increasing the Fuel-efficiency of the Ccrta to a Lower-emission Fleet. Ccrta Will Procure Hybrid-electric Powered Vehicles That Will Replace Older Standard Gasoline Fueled Vehicles.; Expected Outcomes: the Primary Focus of This Effort Will Be to Modernize the Fleet With Hybrid Powered Vehicles. Fuel Efficiency Is an Obvious Advantage. the Ccrta Will Expect to Continue to Be a Leader Among Transportation Providers in the Area by Providing Support to Others Seeking to Ensure Increased Efficiency With Their Fleets.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Beneficiaries of This Effort Will Be the Riders Who Use Our Service But the Reduced Emissions We Expect to Deliver Will Benefit All Citizens in Our Area and Beyond.; Subrecipient Activities: There Are No Subrecipient Activities Directly Related to This Effort.
