Application Purpose: This Is a Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) Request for $676550 in Federal Funds Consisting of 2020 Carryover 5339 Funds for the Barnstable-ma Uza for a Program of Capital Projects Which Will Help Facilitate Maintaining Our Service as Well as Accelerate the Conversion of the Ccrta Fleet to Zero-emissions Vehicles.; Activities Performed: These Funds Will Be Used to Begin the Electrification Process of Converting the Ccrta to a Zero-emission Fleet.; Expected Outcomes: the Primary Focus of This Effort Will Be to Modernize the Fleet With Zero-emission Vehicles Which Are in Demand in an Area as Environmentally Conscious as Cape Cod. Both Efficiency and Emission Reduction Are Obvious Advantages But We Would Expect Further to Be a Leader Among Transportation Providers in the Area by Providing Support to Others in Their Efforts to Electrify Their Fleets.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Beneficiaries of This Effort Will Be the Riders Who Use Our Service But the Reduced Emissions We Expect to Deliver Will Benefit All Citizens in Our Area and Beyond.; Subrecipient Activities: There Are No Subrecipient Activities Directly Related to This Effort.
