The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority Requests $8775138 in Crrsaa Funds Is to Provide Funds for Operating Assistance and Preventative Maintenance Activities. Ccrta Will Utilize at Least 1% of These Funds for Public Transportation Security Operating Expenses. Ccrta Is Currently Developing an Action Plan to Obligate the Remaining $2770535 of Unobligated Funds From Crrsaa for Capital Expenses and Will Apply for a Grant in the Near Future.purpose:the Purpose of This Grant Is to Provide Approximately 2 Years of Operating Assistance and Preventive Maintenance Funds to the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority to Assist It in Recovering From the Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic During the Period of July 1 2022 to September 27 2024.ACTIVITIES to Be Performed:funds Will Be Used to Cover All Eligible Operating Expenses Such as Driver Salaries Fuel Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year Preventive Maintenance Etc. in Order to Continue Transit Operations.expected Outcomes:funding Will Permit Continuous Uninterrupted Service for Riders While Ensuring That Transit Assets Are Maintained in a State of Good Repair.intended Beneficiaries:riders in All 15 Towns on Cape Cod.subrecipient Activities:there Are No Subrecipients Who Will Receive Funds From This Award.ccrta Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.ccrta Is Barnstable Countys Regional Transit Authority Serving the 15 Towns on Cape Cod (barnstable Bourne Brewster Chatham Dennis Orleans Eastham Sandwich Truro Wellfleet Falmouth Harwich Mashpee Provincetown and Yarmouth). Ccrta Provides Fixed Route Flex Route Paratransit (ada and General Dial-a Ride) and Fully Funded Human Service Transportation Services to Member Towns. Ccrta Is a Member of the Cape Cod Joint Transportation Committee (CCJTC) of the Cape Cod Commission (CCC Regional Planning Agency) and a Voting Member of the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
