This Is a Mwrta Grant Request for $2372347 in FFY2021 5307 Urbanized Area Formula Funds From the Boston Uza. a Copy of the Mou for the FFY2021 5307 Split Agreement Dated 3/8/2021 Is Attached. the Requested Funds Will Be Used to Perform the Following Activities:- Miscellaneous Support Equipment - Non-fixed Route Paratransit Expenses- Purchase of Tools and Equipment to Be Used for Maintenance and Operations at the Blandin Ave Hub and the Operations Center at the Framingham Commuter Rail Station Hub in Framingham Ma- Procurements for Successful Operation of Transit Services Including But Not Limited to Mobility Management Travel Training Call Center Technology Updates It and Fare Collection Transition.per Arrangement Since the Mbta Has Confirmed That It Will Not Come in for Capitalized Ada Operating Assistance From Its Share of the Ffy 2021 Section 5307 Urbanized Area Apportionment for the Boston Uza This Effectively Means That All Rtas in the Boston Uza May Use as Much of Their Split of the Boston Uza Funds for Capitalized Ada Operating as They Choose. Since the Mbta Receives About 90% of the Total 5307 Funds for the Boston Uza the 10% Limit for the Uza Will Not Be Exceeded.the Funding Under This Grant Application Will Be Used to Purchase Miscellaneous Bus and Facilities Support Equipment Necessary for the Ongoing Operation With the Public Transit Operations in the Metrowest Region. Funds Will Also Be Used to Support the Systems Paratransit Services. the Mwrta Provides Fixed Route and Paratransit Bus Service in 16 Communities in the Boston Metrowest Region. Services Are Centered in Framingham and Natick With Additional Service Provided to Ashland Dover Holliston Hopedale Hopkinton Hudson Marlborough Milford Sherborn Southborough Sudbury Wayland Wellesley and Weston. These Projects Will Maintain Assets in a State of Good Repair Improve Operational Efficiency and Enhance Accessibility. the Mwrta FY20 Ridership Exceeded 250000 Passengers and Over 105000 Vehicle Service Hours. Mwrta FY2021 Operating Budget Is $9732040. Mwrta Signed the FFY2021 Certifications and Assurances in Trams on 1/20/2021. the Activities Are Programmed in the Ma Stip. Mwrtas Duns #: 808401306 Has Been Entered Into Trams. All Administrative and Statutory Requirements Have Been Met in Accordance With 5307 Urbanized Area Formula Program as Articulated in Fta Circular 9030.1E.
