The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) Requests a Total of $5992829 of FFY2021 Section 5307 American Rescue Plan Funds From the Worcester Ma--ct Urbanized Area to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to Coronavirus. This Grant Obligates 100% of the Funds Allocated to the Wrta and the Worcester Ma--ct Uza Split Letter Dated May 4 2021 Is Attached. the Requested Funds Will Be Used for:- Operating Assistancethese Funds Will Be Used for Eligible Expenses Associated With Operating Assistance Activities That Have Not Been Previously Reimbursed by Other Fta Funds. Through These Activities the Wrta Will Continue to Serve Its Riding Public and Maintain Its Assets in a State of Good Repair.activities in This Grant Began on January 20 2020. Per Arp the Grant Requests 100% Federal Share and the Activities in This Application Are Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-range Transportation Plan or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.the Wrta Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.in Accordance With Fta Circular 9030.1E Preventative Maintenance Activities Are Considered Operating Costs.
