The Arkansas State Library Will Use Funds to Support the Goals of Their Five-year Plan for Fy 2023-2027, Which Reflect the Purposes and Priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (lsta). in Arkansas, Specific Goals Include: 1) Enhance Access to Information for Lifelong Learning - Expanding Access to Information Resources of All Types Through Digitization, Preservation, Maintenance of Collections; and by Maintaining, Improving, and Creating New Models of Access to Those Resources; 2) Provide Training, Professional Development, and Resources to the State’s Library Workforce - Improving Staff Skills, Promoting Leadership, and Enhancing Recruitment Efforts; 3) Provide Programs to a Broad Audience With Diverse Information Needs - Enriching the Lives of Arkansans Through Programs, Services, and Resources; and 4) Enhance the Technological Environment of Arkansas Libraries - Providing It Consultation Services and Facilitating Opportunities for the Testing and Implementation of New and Emerging Technologies.
