Alele Museum, Public Library and National Archives, the Designated State Library Administrative Agency for the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Will Use Grant Funds to Support an Ongoing Intergenerational Library Computer Training Program. Library Assistants Will Be Prepared to Work With Children, Adolescents, and Working Adults on Computer Literacy. in Addition, Older Adults Will Be a Particular Target Audience for Training Through a Partnership With a Local Retired Persons Association. the Project Will Also Continue Digitizing Over 600 Video Tapes From the Years When Alele Was Producing a Weekly Television Program of Historic and Cultural Events. Grant Funds Will Also Support Staff Participation in the Pacific Islands Association of Libraries, Archives, and Museums (PIALA) Conference.
