Award Purpose Activities to Be Performed the Cosumnes River Watershed Seed Amplification Project Will Make Local Seeds to Help Restore Nature in the Cosumnes River Area. Heritage Growers Is a Nonprofit That Provides Native Seeds and Plants in California and Wants to Help the States Natural Areas. This Project Will Include Activities Like Talking to the Community, Collecting Wild Seeds, and Growing Local Plants. They Will Plant Seeds, Water Them, Control Weeds and Bugs, Collect the Harvest, Clean the Seeds, Test Them, and Store Them. the Seeds and Plants Will Be Saved for the Bureau of Land Management to Use. Expected Deliverables This Project Will Help Meet Some Goals of the National Seed Strategy. It Will Increase the Number of Suitable Seeds, Improve How to Produce Native Seeds, and Provide Chances to Teach Restoration Workers How to Grow Native Seeds for Big Habitat Restoration Projects.intended Beneficiaries Wildlife via Habitat Restoration Efforts, the Public Through Creating More Resilient Ecosystems, Pollinators Through Habitat Improvement, and Native Seeds and Plants Through Increased Availability.
