The Objective Is to Reduce Hazardous Fuels in Rural Forested Subdivision Areas in Custer County to Lessen the Threat and Damage of Potential Wildfires in the Area. Mitigating These Areas Will Provide a Buffer and Fuel Breaks to Assist Firefighters in Suppressing the Wildfires and Protecting Residents, Public and Structures in These Areas. Removal of Hazardous Fuels in These Forested Areas Will Give Firefighters Areas to Be Successful in Stopping the Fire.
