There Are 10 Rare Plant Species, Seven of Which Are Federally Listed, That Occur in Alkali Wetlands in the Amargosa River Drainage on BLM Lands Managed by the Pahrump Field Office One Species (zeltnera Namophila, Spring Loving Centaury) Also Occurs in the Upper Reaches of the Amargosa River in the Tonopah Field Office. There Is a Need to Support Surveys, Monitoring, and Research to Advance Conservation and Recovery Actions to Mitigate Against Threats Such as Groundwater Extraction, Hydrological Alteration, and Mining Exploration That Place These Species at Risk of Extinction. This Proposal Seeks to Carry Out the Following Objectives: 1) Conduct Surveys and Establish Long Term Monitoring Plots and Demographic Analyses for Nitrophila Mohavensis (amargosa Niterwort) in Carson Slough on BLM Land in NV 2) Conduct Rare Plant Surveys for the Alkali Wetland Species Across Their Range in NV to Advance Understanding of Their Distribution, Abundance, and Threats to Inform Conservation Efforts 3) Develop a Conservation Genomic Study for Spiranthes Infernalis (ash Meadows Ladies Tresses) to Inform Its Conservation
