Tribal Co-stewardship: Studies Which Explore Opportunities for, Evaluate, or Seek to Re-invigorate Co-stewardship Activities With Tribal Entities, Including But Not Limited to Application of Indigenous Knowledge.the Purpose of This Award Is to Continue to Build Off of Previously Awarded Financial Assistance Agreement Brownscanyon National Monument Pilot Ethnographic Study (L19AC00219) to Complete in Depth Fieldwork at Brownscanyon With the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe and the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. the Goal of This Proposal Is to Addadditional Tribes, Starting With the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma, to the Ethnographic Research That Has Beenconducted to Date at Browns Canyon National Monument. a Three Day Field Session With Comanche Tribalrepresentatives Would Be Conducted With Interviews on Cultural Connections to Browns Canyon, Managementrecommendations, Potential Education or Outreach Content, and Future Collaboration Opportunities. a Review Sessionwith Tribal Representatives Would Be Held as a Follow Up to Ensure Data Accuracy. the Main Deliverable Would Be Afinal Report and Managers Summary. the Intended Beneficiaries Would Be the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma, Thebureau of Land Management Royal Gorge Field Office, and Recreational Users of Browns Canyon Nationalmonument.
