Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area (red Rock) Is Nevadas First National Conservation Area Designated in 1990. Red Rock Sits on the West Side of Las Vegas, Nevada and Spans Over 200,000 Acres. Southern Nevada Conservancy (SNC) Operates the Fee Collection Services, Operation of a Retail Gift and Bookstore, and Develops and Implements a Wide Array of Interpretive Programs, Products, and Publications. Federal Funding Support Provides Reimbursement for Fee Collection Services. SNC Generates Program Income at the Retail Gift and Bookstore Located in the Red Rock Visitor Center. the Program Income Generated at the Retail Store Supports the Retail Staff, Interpretive Staff, Educational Programs, Supports Special Projects That Enhance the Interpretation Education Value Within Red Rock.
