This Projects Aims to Enhance Sage-grouse Habitat Across Jurisdiction Boundaries in the Baker Priority Area of Conservation (PAC) in Conjunction With Ongoing Projects Funded by the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (oweb), Oregon State Weed Board (oswb), and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Since the Baker Pac Has Seen a 75 Reduction in the Number of Sage-grouse Since 2005, the Baker Local Implementation Team (LIT) Was Reinvigorated and Has Taken a All Hands-on Deck Approach to Helping Sage-grouse. Tri-county, Along With Other Project Partners Including NRCS, Us Fish and Wildlife Service, BLM, Baker County Weed Control, Oregon Dept. of Ag, Odfw, and Private Landowners Are Working Together to Increase the Quantity and Quality of Sage Grouse Habitat.
