Lincoln County Will Construct a 4-MILE Trail and Trailhead Referred as Slaughterhouse Trail Within 415 Acres of BLM Public Lands Identified for Conveyance to the County for Open Space. the Conveyance Lands and Proposed Trail Are Located Southwest of SR321 Adjacent to the Town of Pioche, Nevada. the Trail Will Provide an Outdoor Recreational Experience in a Natural Setting Just Minutes From Town. New Construction Will Be Minimal and Much of the Natural Surrounding Will Be Protected. With the Designation of the Conveyance Lands as Open Space the Recreational Emphasis Will Be Hiking and Biking for Users of All Ages to Pursue Their Interests in the Outdoors and Provide an Interpretive Emphasis on the Historic Significance of the Local Area.
