This Project Is a Request for Funding to Protect the Communities of Forest Lakes, Tween, Enchanted Forest, Los Ranchitos, and the Sweetwater Area Along With Critical Watershed Encompassing the North and South Forks of Texas Creek This Project as Stated in the Notice of Funding Looks to Meet Goal 1 Planning and Implementing Strategies to Protect Communities and Infrastructure Including Habitats Goal 3 Fostering and Promoting Fuels Management in a Partnership With Federal, Local Government, and Private Property Owner Goal 5 Coordinating With Landowners and Cooperators for Fuel Treatments Across Landscapes and Goal 6 to Enhance Local and Small Business Employment Opportunities This Project Is a Partnership With Public, Private, and Local Government to Foster and Promote Fuels Management and Treatment to Make the Landscape Resilient This Project Also Requests Funding to Update Four 4 Community Wildfire Protection Plans CWPP and Complete an in Progress CWPP to Facilitate Planning and Implementing Strategies to Protect Communities in the Project Area the Project Is to Mitigate Approximately 1500 Acres Over a Five Year Period on Both Private and Public Lands
