Introduction Montana Conservation Corps MCC Has a Long and Well Documented History Partnering With the Bureau of Land Management BLM Glasgow Field Office This Steadfast Partnership Has Resulted in Transformational Experiences for Our Participants While Consistently Meeting Field Office Needs Participants Will Focus on Addressing Education, Maintenance and Natural Resource Needs While Developing a Sense of Ownership and Connection With Public Lands and the Natural Environment Activities to Be Performed MCC Adult Crews and Individual Placement Members Will Implement a Variety of Educational and Landscape Improvement Projects That Will Provide Lasting Benefits to the Public and Local Ecosystems Projects Will Focus on the Removal and Construction of Fence, Constructing and Maintaining Infrastructure Trails, Signs, Rock Weirs, Campgrounds, Etc , Maintaining Facilities, Restoring Streams and Native Vegetation, Treating and Mapping Noxious Weeds, Resource Monitoring and Completing the BLM S Assessment, Inventory and Monitoring Aim Points Expected Deliverables or Outcomes MCC Will Provide Up to Five Individual Placement Members and Up to Two Adult Crew Weeks Per Year the Expected Outcomes Include Completion of Hi Line Aim Points Approximately 80 Year , Restoring Approximately 1 Mile of Stream, and the Maintenance of Up to 2 Miles of Fence MCC Staff Will Prioritize This Work With Final Outcomes and Deliverables Determined by BLM Field Staff Intended Beneficiaries This Project Will Benefit the Public by Providing Improved Opportunities for Recreation While Gaining a Better Understanding of the Rich Natural History of Our Public Lands MCC Participants Will Gain Work Experience in Public Lands and Natural Resources Management While Promoting Long Term Interest in Public Lands Stewardship and the BLM Subrecipient Activities There Will Be No Subrecipients of the Award
