The Purpose of This Award Is to Support the National Seed Strategy for Rehabilitation and Restoration and the President S Executive Order for Restoring America the Beautiful Through Holding Workshops and Programming at the 2023 National Native Seed Conference the Conference Brings Together 300 500 Stakeholders From Throughout the Native Seed Industry, Including Agencies, Private Seed Producers, Policy Makers, University Researchers, and Practitioners From Multiple Sectors We Expect to Convene the Conference in Washington DC in 2023, 2025, and 2027 to Give Policy Makers From Land Management Agencies Greater Access to Seed Industry Stakeholders Holding the Event Will Lead to Improved Habitat Restoration Outcomes by Increasing Communication and Information Sharing Among Participants, Who Are Involved in All Aspects of the Seed Supply Chain and on the Ground Restoration the Conference Will Directly Contribute to All Four Objectives of the National Seed Strategy Assessment of Seed Availability, Research, Development of Decision Tools, and Public Outreach the Conference Will Also Be a Gathering for Members of the Growing Number of Seed Partnerships in the Us, Providing an Opportunity to Strengthen Their Information Base and the Quality of the Seeds They Produce a Strong Native Seed Industry Not Only Leads to Better, More Climate Resilient Restoration, But Also Contributes to a Strong Economy and More Rural Jobs Iae Will Also Partner With the Natural Areas Association on Venue Selection and Management as Well as Participant Registration
