This Project Is Related to Recovery of the Rare Plant Macfarlane S Four O Clock Mirabilis Macfarlenei MIMA2 and the Canyon Grassland Habitats Where It Is Found Intact Canyon Grasslands of the Salmon and Snake River Watersheds Protect Riverine Systems From Sedimentation and Provide Resources for Native Wildlife Such as Mule Deer and Bighorn Sheep and a Myriad of Birds and Other Fauna MIMA2 Presence in the Canyons Ecosystem Also Relies on High Quality Habitat That Performs These Essential Ecosystem Functions in This Project We Will Assess Habitat Conditions for MIMA2 Out Planting Sites This Will Not Only Further Our Knowledge About Site Suitability But Also Evaluate the Habitat Resiliency and Restoration Potential of Habitats
